Job Overview

A Senior Designer is far more than a maker of beautiful things. They are a systems thinker, visual storyteller, and cultural contributor who helps shape the worlds brands live within. This role blends conceptual creativity, strategic thinking, and elevated design thinking to create cohesive brand experiences that move fluidly across every touchpoint, platform, and medium.

As a Senior Designer, you will help translate strategy into living, breathing brand systems. You’ll collaborate across disciplines to build work that is not only visually compelling, but emotionally resonant, scalable, and culturally relevant. From identity systems and campaigns to environments, motion, digital experiences, and emerging platforms, you will help create work that pushes beyond traditional design expectations.

The ideal candidate thrives in an energetic, collaborative environment and is excited by both the precision of craft and the ambiguity of possibility. You are equally comfortable concepting big ideas, refining typography, presenting your work internally to director level team leaders, mentoring teammates, and helping shape the future of the department itself.

Responsibilities

  • Create thoughtful, innovative, and culturally resonant design solutions across brand, campaign, digital, environmental, social, motion, and experiential applications
  • Develop design systems and brand worlds that extend beyond logos and visual identity into cohesive multi-platform experiences
  • Collaborate closely with designers, strategists, copywriters, creative directors, technologists, and account teams to bring ideas to life
  • Push work beyond expected solutions, exploring multiple pathways in pursuit of distinct and meaningful creative outcomes
  • Present ideas and design rationale clearly and confidently to internal teams and, at times, clients
  • Lead portions of projects independently
  • Contribute to the evolving culture, vision, and creative ambition of the department
  • Stay connected to contemporary culture, design, technology, AI, and emerging creative behaviors that can inspire new ways of thinking
  • Embrace feedback as part of the creative process and continuously refine both the work and your craft

Required Skills

  • Strong typography, layout, and color skills
  • Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem solving
  • Ability to think beyond single executions and design cohesive brand systems
  • Understanding of branding across packaging, retail, digital, physical, and virtual experiences
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Understanding of print, digital, motion, and production fundamentals
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma
  • Strong understanding of emerging technology, AI tools, and modern creative platforms
  • Curious, collaborative, and eager to continuously grow creatively

What We Value:

  • Big thinkers with strong points of view
  • Designers who balance systems and spontaneity
  • Curiosity over ego
  • Craft without preciousness
  • Cultural awareness and optimism
  • People who care deeply about ideas, storytelling, and human experience
  • Designers who understand that brands today are built through behavior, experience, felxibility, and coherence, not just aesthetics

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, ad school credentials and/or equivalent experience
  • Five or more years of industry experience
  • Exceptional portfolio with demonstrated versatility across all media
  • Ability to travel as needed

At the time of posting, the base salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $85,000. Compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and qualifications. In addition to the base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health and wellness options, agency perks, and the flexibility of a hybrid work environment.
